Montreux Jazz Festival

Miami 2025’s Montreux Jazz Festival

We are excited to return on February 28, March 1, and March 2, 2025, to our stunning waterfront setting and first-rate hospitality that perfectly encapsulated the essence of the original Swiss festival, following a successful first event.

Five-time Grammy and Academy Award-winning singer, songwriter, and composer Jon Batiste, who co-owns the festival, is taking on a more expansive role this year. He is curating the entire festival programming, which includes the Legendary Montreux Jam Sessions, emerging artist showcases, special guest appearances, and headline acts.

We are excited to share the initial names of our incredible lineup for the Montreux Jazz Festival Miami this year!  Join us for three nights that will never be forgotten, each featuring outstanding performers as the main acts. The festival begins on Friday, February 28, 2025, with an incredible roster that includes up-and-coming multi-instrumentalist Justin Lee-Schultz, the dynamic alt-pop sensation WILLOW, and Jon Batiste & Friends, who will present an incredible show.

British singer-songwriter Griff will light up the stage on Saturday, March 1, 2025, ahead of Queen of Funk Chaka Khan and avant-garde, boundary-pushing singer, songwriter, rapper, and actress Janelle Monáe.

An incredible Afro-Cuban “La Descarga” (improvised jam session) led by Jon Batiste and 2024 Latin GRAMMY Record of the Year nominee Cimafunk will close out the festival on Sunday, March 2, 2025.  Chucho Valdés, Paquito D’Rivera, Gonzalo Rubalcaba, Ibrahim Maalouf, Pedrito Martinez, Aymee Nuviola, Emily Estefan, Hamilton de Holanda, Sammy Figueroa, Yilian Cañizares, Yissy Garcia, Brenda Navarrete, and others will be performing in this special performance.

Yusa and Wampi, Victor Campbell, Robe L. Ninho, and numerous others.  Both Bogotá’s Monsieur Periné and Cuba’s Alfredo Rodriguez, who are nominated for the Latin GRAMMY Record of the Year in 2024 and feature on Cimafunk’s nominated song “Catalina,” will play on Sunday. In the cozy setting of the 1,500-seat Hangar at Regatta Harbour in Coconut Grove, take in top-notch performances.  Savor a wide range of musical selections, including jazz greats and modern artists from different genres.  As the sun sets, take in the mesmerizing performances of up-and-coming musicians before our eagerly awaited main act. Enjoy carefully chosen dining options from Miami’s top restaurants, such as the waterfront outdoor mainstay Bayshore Club, the new hot spot Celia’s, which is known for its gourmet smash burgers, and two Michelin-starred Chef Henrique Sá Pessoa’s most recent culinary venture, Sereia. You can also take part in music masterclasses and the legendary Montreux Jam Sessions.

Do not pass up this opportunity to take part in an unforgettable musical event. Mark your calendars and reserve your place at one of Miami’s most prestigious cultural events of 2025—tickets are restricted to preserve the festival’s intimate feel!  In Miami, you may experience the enchantment of Montreux!

The MJF Spotlight Sessions are back in Villars, featuring future talents in an opulent environment!  The Montreux Jazz Festival has chosen six up-and-coming performers to play three weekends from February 21 to March 8, 2025, at the Théâtre du Villars Palace.
